In Remembrance…

My granddad fought in the trenches in France during World War I.

My dad was drafted into the army during World War II.

My first husband, Larry, served in the Air Force during Viet Nam.

My son was a Navy JAG during the Iraq war.

Thank you, to all of you and the countless others who fought for our country.

May the day come quickly when we beat our swords into plowshares… When nation no longer takes up sword against nation, and no one trains for war anymore.

“Everyone will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree,

and no one will make them afraid.”

Micah 4:3
