Costco? Gulp!

Want a bouquet of spring flowers without busting the bank?  Costco.

Want an out-of-season pumpkin pie without all the trouble of concocting a custard filling?  Costco.

Want to sink your teeth into a hot dog slathered in mustard that you know you shouldn’t eat but tastes so, so good?  Costco.

Want a memory card for your camera… a pair of sweats for a chilly evening… sliced bacon with a maple tang… an already roasted chicken to feed that crowd coming for dinner… enough kitty litter to keep your cat occupied for a month?  Costco.

All that is true.  Even so, nothing quite prepares an author for the news:  “Hey, guess who’s carrying your new book?  Costco!”

Okay, carrying isn’t quite accurate.  It’s more like trying out.  But who’s worrying about  semantics?  Not me!  The important thing is, The Call of Zulina, book 1 of the Grace in Africa trilogy, will be sitting in an inviting bin, prominately displayed in a smattering of Costco stores across the country.  So who cares about the technical wording of the arrangement?

MY BOOK IS GOING TO BE IN COSTCO!

So any time, between now and the last day of May, if you  happen to be picking up flowers or a memory card or sweat pants or thick sliced bacon or an already roasted chicken or a huge bag of kitty litter… or if you have your mouth set for a mustard spiked hot dog, or perhaps even a pumpkin pie, pop into Costco.  And while you’re at it, look at the great deal on The Call of Zulina.

Coming to a store near you?  The chart below shows which stores will actually be carrying the book.  (You say your local store isn’t listed?  Well, stop in and ask the manager why not!)

Oh, the red dates and blue times designate my scheduled book signings.  I’d especially love to have you stop by for one of them and say hello!

  2. Kay,

That is fabulous news! Way to go! I’m so excited for you. This could open up doors for more historical CBA fiction! God is moving.

  3. Kay,
Great news. Can I look for it next on the Home Shopping Network?
