“You’re blogging? Oh, that’s great!”
That’s what person after person told me at the writers’ conference.
Yep, I said. Monday through Friday. Five days a week. A post each day.
“Yikes!” each one responded in turn. “Are you nuts?”
Well, what do I know? I thought a good blogger was supposed to write every day. Even if she had nothing to say. Even if it cut drastically into her book writing time. Even if it meant she was baggy-eyed from lack of sleep. Remember, I am an old dog, and this is a new trick.
Blog once a week, some suggested. Twice or thrice a week, others advised.
What they said made a whole lot of sense. So, here I am reinventing myself again. Second time since I started my blog on January 1. (Actually, I prefer to refer to it as advanced learning. Career development. Social improvement. Fine-tuning of social skills.)
Whatever you call it, starting tomorrow, I will be sending out my blog three days a week–Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Unless I re-re-reinvent myself, of course! Which is always possible.
“It is never too late to be what you might have been.”
